Semaglutide Injections + Lipo B
As part of a 3-month program to achieve weight loss, we proudly offer Semaglutide injections. Semaglutide helps patients feel full faster, decreasing the likelihood of overeating while assisting them to get through the day without constantly feeling hungry.
First approved in 2017 for treating Type 2 diabetes, Semaglutide effectively stabilizes glycemic levels by boosting insulin secretion and reducing glucagon secretion, ultimately stabilizing blood sugar. Semaglutide matches GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1), a unique hormone in the body that is responsible for controlling appetite. When this peptide hormone is optimized, the patient feels satiated after eating less food than usual.
Semaglutide is administered by injection once a week, usually starting with a dosage level of 0.25. If needed, this dosage will be increased after the first month. These injections are typically administered in the abdomen, upper arm, or thigh.
